Park Place Insurance (P.P.I) was formed in January 1991 specifically to offer professional Insurance services to Commercial and Private client’s of Law firms and Accountants.

Initially the business transacted consisted mainly of:

• Home Buildings and Contents
• Motor/ Motor Fleet/ Commercial Vehicles
• Commercial Combined for Shops, Offices, Pubs, Restaurants and Factories.

Whilst this still accounts for a significant portion of the P.P.I. client base today, major inroads have been made over the years resulting in steady growth into specialist areas throughout the UK including:

• Mobility Products – Electric Scooters, Electric Wheelchairs, Stairlifts
• Legal Expenses, U.L.R and GAP Insurance
• Total Loss Theft Replacement

Today P.P.I have facilities with most major Insurers, specialist markets and Lloyds syndicates, ensuring that our clients obtain the most appropriate contracts at competitive premiums.

The two founding directors are David Nicholson and Jim Martin who, beforeforming P.P.I., were Branch and Area Managers with a 300 outlet national chain of brokers; between them they have over 50 years experience of insurance.

P.P.I have a staff of ten, five of whom have been with them since the business was formed.  They are now located in a modern office suite in Kirkcaldy High Street
